Report of woman turning to Cat in Akure false – Family

Residents of Saint Luke’s axis of Akure, the Ondo State capital woke up to the bizarre news of a woman who allegedly transformed into a Cat on Friday.

Residents gathered in surprise at the front of the woman’s house perhaps to catch a glimpse of the Cat that the said woman allegedly transformed into. According to a report, the woman was rescued from mob action.

The family of the woman has now issued a statement to debunk the viral news.

The release signed by John Ayobade said the report was false and added that the police have commenced investigation on the matter.

He warned residents against spreading lies against the woman adding that legal actions would be taken against any individual that is involved.
