The Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN rejoices with Nigerians as Nigeria celebrates its 63 years anniversary, today Sunday, 1st October, 2023.
The Ondo Central Senator in his Independence anniversary message, congratulates Nigerians on the nation’s 63rd Independence anniversary by calling on the good people of Ondo Central Senatorial District and Nigeria in general, not to relent in their prayers as the government is working hard to address the various challenges confronting the country.
The Senator who is also the Chairman, Senate Committee on Agriculture Colleges and Institutions said that, “We must use this occasion to continue to focus on initiatives and innovative programmes that will engender progress, and development in our country”.
The legal luminary notes that the government must create quick win economic opportunities that will help relieve the socio-economic pains our people are experiencing in the country at the moment occasioned by the sudden removal of fuel subsidy.
While further acknowledging the challenges the people are facing, he said, efforts must be made to meet the yearnings of the people of the country. It is the only way to show the people that the government of the day is indeed ready to solve the current socio-economic problems facing the nation”.
“We are in a period where people expect the government to move faster in terms of bringing development, prosperity, peace, quality education, as well as securing lives and property of the masses”.
The Senator said, “We will continue to strengthen our determination to develop Ondo Central Senatorial District by engaging the executive towards alleviating the sufferings of the people”.
The Senator uses the celebration of Nigeria’s 63rd Independence anniversary to appreciate the great people of Ondo Central for their unflinching and unalloyed support as we continue in our resolve to bring economic progress and sustainable intervention programmes to our various communities.
Sen. Adegbonmire also prays that God Almighty will further sustain the peaceful coexistence among Nigerians and help the nation to surmount its socio-economic challenges.
