Idogun indigenes set to donate e-library, business centre to community

—-hold medical outreach



The ancient community of Idogun in Ireakari LCDA area of Ose Local Government of Ondo state will again come alive from the 27th to 31st December 2023, for a week-long historic developmental programme.

Sons and daughters of the community under the umbrella of Idogun Development Association (IDA) worldwide will be giving back to their community, a first of its kinds programme in Ose Local Government.

Led by its Worldwide President, Engr. Ajibolade Adetunji, the association has concluded arrangement with the Sponsorship of Lady Evang.Naomi Aduke Abisoye Babalola Foundation USA, World Health Organisation, Reals Group Pharmacy Lagos, lmmaculate hospital Ibadan, Red Cross of Nigeria, amongst other organisations to hold health and medical outreach for residents of Idogun and its environs between 27th-28th December at the community health Centre.

The medical outreach will cover free medical tests and treatment to be handled by foreign medical practitioners with the support of the local government’s health officers.

On Saturday 29th, there will be an official inauguration of e-library computer training and business centre donated by NIGERIA CONNECTS USA, for the usage of the Idogun community and Ireakari axis, with all the needed equipment already ACQUIRED and equipped.

In order to preserve the community’s cultural heritage, IDA would hold the 3rd editions of Idogun cultural celebration on the 30th at St. Paul Primary School, while football match competitions for male and female groups have been scheduled to precede the activities on the 25th and also climax it on the 31st. This, according to the IDA President, was aimed at promoting the interest of Idogun children in sporting activities.
