Akeredolu: We’ve Lost A Reformer, Says APC UK Ondo State Caucus, Condoles With Immediate Family, Aiyedatiwa, Others

The All Progressives Congress, United Kingdom(APC UK) Ondo State Caucus has described the death of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as a monumental loss to Nigeria and Ondo State in particular.

The APC loyalists in the diaspora acknowledged the exceptional leadership of the former President, Nigeria Bar Association(NBA) and Senior Advocate of Nigeria especially for impacting positively on the development of Ondo State, the Southwest region and Nigeria as a whole.

A statement by the APC UK Ondo State Caucus signed by its Chairman,Chief Dare Adeyeye and Secretary, Hon Davis Aboluwodi commiserated with his family, Acting Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the ruling APC both at the State and National level for the passage of Governor Akeredolu.

The Caucus praised his enviable virtues as a dogged fighter of democracy, bold and pragmatic in decision-making.

It particularly pointed out his courage in championing the birth of Amotekun Security Outfit in the Southwest, as well as his frontline position in ensuring United Nigeria and indelible marks in public service.

The statement reads” With deepest regrets, we executives and members of the APC UK express our heartfelt condolences  to the Progressives family, the government and people of Ondo State led by the Acting Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the immediate family of Governor Akeredolu,the Olowo of Owo and and all sumphatisers.”

“Our action govenor would be remembered for his courage, patriotism, and immense contributions to the constitutional and socio-political development of Nigeria”.

The APC stalwarts however took solace in the unprecedented positive contributions of the former NBA President who was also the Chancellor of Owo Anglican Diocese had made before his exit, praying God to repose his soul and take care of his family.
