The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has that his administration will leave no stone unturned for the comprehensive development of the State.
He made the promise on Wednesday at the presentation of a book titled “The Man, Aiyedatiwa”, by the Ondo Masses for Aiyedatiwa 2024, in Akure.
The Governor reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that all projects are diligently pursued for the betterment of the people of the State.
The governor said; “With deep conviction, I want to assure the good people of Ondo State that the momentum of positive change would persist. This is based on our administration’s steadfast commitment to advancing ongoing initiatives and introducing new strategies for sustainable development.
“Let there be no doubt, that our journey towards prosperity and well-being of the people will endure. Every effort, every endeavor will be directed towards the betterment of our communities and the upliftment of every citizen.”
The Governor expressed his appreciation for the overwhelming support he has received from the people of the State ahead of the coming governorship election in the State.
He thanked the various supoort groups for coming together to produce a book about his personality, promising not to take such love for granted.
At the event, the Governor was presented with a gift by veteran actor and lecturer, Pa Peter Fatomilola, who said he has been impressed with the leadership style of the Governor since coming into office.
Earlier in his address, Otunba Valentine Olaleye, the Chairman of the event, reflected on the transformative leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa, urging the people of the State to vote enmass for him.
Also, Dr. Akeredolu O.N, the Chairman of the Organising Committee, announced a groundbreaking initiative by “Masses for Aiyedatiwa 2024,” comprising of over 200 advocacy groups united in endorsing Governor Aiyedatiwa’s continuity in office beyond 2025.
Those in attendance included the Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami, Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Prince Segun Omojuwa, and other top government functionaries.
