Ondo APC Primary: Aiyedatiwa is ordained by God to lead the State – Speaker Abbas aide

A Legislative Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Oluwatuyi Jayeoba has thrown his weight behind the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa to emerge the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the November gubernatorial election.

Jayeoba said Aiyedatiwa is the best to lead the state as providence has made it so and the governor is enjoying the exceeding grace of God

Notwithstanding the avalanche of guber aspirants contesting on the platforms of APC in the State, Jayeoba said he remains optimistic that Gov. Aiyedatiwa would emerge victorious on Saturday.

He said: “I have scrutinised the profiles of all guber aspirants in the State to know how committed they were to the people, and their love for the people of State.

“I am encouraged with the work rate of the governor and what he has done within the few months he’s been in office, adding there is the prospect of a greater and even development in Ondo State by the Aiyedatiwa led administration if given a fresh mandate.

“The governor is doing well and i am giving him my support to secure a fresh mandate to enable him continue his development strides”

“He’s given special attention to governance, and defending the interest of the residents of the state. He is also interested in serving the needs of all the people of Ondo State, not just the urban elites.

Jayeoba added that Aiyedatiwa, unlike the former governor, values loyalty and takes care of party faithful, and serving the needs of the wider public. That alone has given him a significant edge over other candidates.
