Aiyedatiwa’s victory at shadow poll, attestation to implicit confidence in robust leadership – Ondo APC UK Caucus

Leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress,United Kingdom  (APC UK) Ondo State Caucus are excited over the landslide victory of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa at the last Saturday  APC governorship primary.

They described the development as well- deserved and historic.

The APC stalwarts noted that the positive impacts of the governor within the last few months he assumed office had clearly demonstrated his determination to bring unprecedented development to the state.

A press statement jointly signed by the Ondo State APC UK Caucus Chairman, Chief Dare Julius Adeyeye, the APC UK Chapter Chairman/APC Committee of Diaspora Chairman, Hon.Tunde Doherty, Secretary, Hon.Davies Aboluwodi, Publicity Secretary, Hon.Fola Olagbegi, Auditor, Hon.Ayo Adigun and Hon(Mrs) Folashade Eniola Balogun among others lauded the uncommon courage displayed by the governor before, during and after the primary election in spite of various initial challenges.

Besides, the Caucus eulogized President Bola Tinubu and the APC National Working Committee on the successful outcome of the shadow election in the state,while congratulating the Ondo state citizenry for the peaceful conduct of the exercise,which further enhances good democratic ethos.

APC UK Ondo State Caucus used the opportunity to plead with others contestants to see the exercise as one between brothers within a large family which should not create acrimony but mutual understanding to move the state and the ruling party forward.

According to the statement” As we are congratulating the winner, we are also urging all participating aspirants, leaders and members of the party to find a final truce between the governor and other co-contestants aimed at fortify the party ahead of election proper on November 16 for greater victory.

The APC caucus in the Diaspora urged Governor Aiyedatiwa to bring all aggrieved groups and individuals within the party together as quickly as possible for final reconciliation to tackle the major opposition party headlong.

The statement assured the governor of the determination of their members, who are professionals in various fields of endeavours to actively support and partake fully in his administration for the desired development in the Sunshine State.
