Insecurity In Ifon-Ose local govt headquarters: Diaspora APC UK Ondo State Caucus Begs Aiyedatiwa, CP to Intervene

Apparently disturbed by the resurgence of criminals in Ondo state particularly Ifon/ Ose axis of the Sunshine state, the Diaspora APC UK Ondo State Caucus has raised the alarm calling for security fortification of the area.

According to  the Chairman of the Diaspora APC caucus, Chief Dare Julius Adeyeye, the Secretary, Hon Davies Aboluwodi, Hon Fola Olagbegi and Hon Ayo Adigun in an interview expressed concern over the spate of insecurities in Ifon / Ose axis of Ondo state. 

Hon Ayo Adigun, who was in Nigeria on vacation, had earlier met with Amotekun Corps Commander, Adetunji Adeleye on the development.

He said the Commander assured that the  the Corps is adequately provided with enough logistics to deal with this security challenges. 

It would be recalled that the Amotekun Commander at a briefing last Tuesday in Akure, the Ondo state capital reported the resurgence of Criminals in the state and pledged to tackle them headlong as directed by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

To this end, the security outfit had launched ” ” Operation Safe Ground” to completely flush out criminals in the state.

The Ondo APC UK Caucus said” We are using this medium to appeal to our Governor  Lucky Ayedatiwa and Ondo Commissioner of Police to increase security personnel particularly in Ose/ Owo axis of the state.

“Many innocent citizens in this area who are afraid of being kidnapped or killed are now moving out massively to another safer communities  in the state”.

The group noted that the development would bring hardship to residents in the area in terms of food security,peace and togetherness.

The group also appealed to the state government on the need to urgently empower the State Security Agency Network (Amotekun) with sophisticated weapons to deal with these criminal elements in our society.
