The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress is mourning the death of its Welfare Secretary, Omotola Akinseye.
He died died last Monday at the Trauma Centre of the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo at age 67.
In a statement signed by the state publicity secretary of the party, Alex Kalejaye, APC described the late Akinseye as a diligent officer who discharged his duties with integrity, zeal and sense of responsibility and committed to peace and fairness.
He was a committed elder in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and Chairmen, Pure Water Producers Association, Ile Oluji.
“Ondo APC would definitely miss the political experience of Akinseye, a one time Councillor, and later Special Assistance to former governor Olusegun Agagu, as the party prepares for governorship election”, the statement read in part.
While praying God to accept his soul, the party commiserates with the immediate family, friends, the Redeemed Christian Church, and Ile Oluji/ Okeigbo branch of APC.
