Digital Marketing: Ondo North Senator, Jide Ipinsagba trained 100 Youth, Women

The National Productivity Center, Abuja in collaboration with the Office of Senator Jide Ipinsagba, Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, has trained one hundred youth and women in digital marketing skills.

At the of the two-day training program held in Ikare-Akoko, participants were equipped with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in the digital economy and were given laptops and take off grant.

Addressing the participants, Senator Jide Ipinsagba said the initiative, which was second in the series, is part of his commitment to enhancing the economic prospects of his constituents, particularly youth and women.

“The digital marketing training program is designed to bridge the skills gap and foster economic growth in Ondo North Senatorial District”.

Senator Ipinsagba represented by his Legislative Aide, Prince Olusola Aladetimehin noted that he will continue to impact on the people of Ondo North Senatorial District through self sustainable developmental program.

The Resource Person, Mrs Motolani Olorungbon in the course of the training covered essential topics in digital marketing, including social media marketing, search engine optimization, and e-commerce.

Two of the participants, Monday Jombo, Gbenga Adefemi expressed gratitude Senator Ipinsagba for the privilege of teaching them how to fish rather than giving them fish to eat.

The duo said they had gathered enough knowledge and with the take off grant included with the laptop, they are willing to make life out of it.

Participants were drawn from the six local government areas in Ondo North Senatorial District.
