The Chairman of the Transition Committee in Akoko South-East Local Government, Engr. Omolehin Ayegbo says Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s victory and his Deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami in the November 16 Governorship Election was an indication of value reorientation in the political structure of Ondo State.
Engr Ayegbo stated this in a congratulatory message to Governor Aiyedatiwa.
The Local Government Boss expressed heartfelt gratitude to the electorates in Akoko South-East for their overwhelming support in the November 16 Governorship election in Ondo State.
He noted that by voting massively for the APC candidate, Governor Aiyedatiwa, the people of Akoko South-East demonstrated their confidence in the party’s vision for the local government and in extension the entire state.
Engr. Ayegbo specifically acknowledged the crucial role of INEC and security agencies in ensuring a peaceful and rancour-free electoral process.
“Their Professionalism and firm diligence contributed significantly to the election’s success.”
“This victory is also a reflection of APC’s strong presence in the various Communities in the local government, which was evident in my earlier efforts to mobilize support through initiatives like *”Operation Sweep all votes for Aiyedatiwa, House to House Campaign for Lucky and Akoko South East for Lucky”.*
He appreciated the people of Akoko South-East who have reposed their trust in the Progressive Family as reflected in APC overall results of the Election in the region.
