The Ondo State Head of Service, Mr. Bayo Philip has extolled the exemplary service of retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in the state, which he described as inspiring, saying that their tireless efforts have been beacon of light that has guided the current generation of civil servants.
Bayo Philip, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Pension Transition Department, Mr Jide Ekpobomini at the annual end of the year get-together of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries, praised the leadership of the Association for organising the annual programme and advised workers to use their service year to add value to the State.
Earlier, the President of the Association of Ondo State Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries, Mrs Mojisola Ajayi urged managers of the State Civil Service to sustain merit and world best practices.
Mrs Ajayi used the occasion to appeal to Civil Servants to put in their best in the discharge of their official responsibility.
The annual end of the year get-together for Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in Ondo State Civil Service was a time of reunion as well as to wine and dine for members.
Also, the Chairman of the serving Permanent Secretaries, Mr Bunmi Alade urged managers of the Ondo State Civil Service to continue to prioritise meritorious inclination.
He expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity for members to celebrate another end of the year, urging them to take care of their health.
