Gold City Event Centre Ilesa marks 1st Anniversary in grandstyle

It was a gathering of creme-de-la-creme in the society as Gold City Multipurpose Event Centre, Iloko road, Ilesa celebrates its first anniversary of rendering services to the people.

The event held inside the world class event centre brought together Governnment functionaries, Eminent Nigerians, captain of industries, traditional rulers and distinguished personalities from within Osun State and across the country.

In a welcome remark, the Chairman/CEO of Gold City Event Centre, Engr. Folorunsho Esan said the hall has witnessed many landmark events as marriages, birthdays, conferences, seminars and other remarkable moments.

Engr. Esan maintained that the edifice is living up to expectations and will continue to upgrade to meet modern trends and demands.

“We shall continue to upgrade the facility to meet up with current taste and international standards.”

While expressing delight with the turn out of people at the event, Engr. Esan appreciated everyone for the show of affection for his contribution to the economy of the nation.

The Chairman of the occasion and Asiwaju of Ijesaland, High Chief Yinka Fasuyi noted that the event centre has added value to entertainment in the axis and has become a benchmark for event centres in Osun State.

Highpoint of the anniversary was an outstanding performance by a music legend, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey who treated the audience to an array of his evergreen songs.
