The Oloba of Uso, Oba Ademola Adebiyi Oyinbade Olanipekun, has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the people of Uso for their unwavering support, love, and encouragement throughout 2024.
In his message, the monarch highlighted the collective efforts that have driven community development, expressing his gratitude and prayers for all families, particularly those who have faced bereavement.
The Oloba urged the community to prioritize health to prevent untimely deaths, emphasizing the value of a healthy and united populace. “I deeply appreciate all the good things you have done and continue to do for me and our community. You are truly worthy ambassadors of Uso, and while I may not be able to thank you enough, I trust that the Almighty God will reward your efforts abundantly,” he stated.
Looking ahead year 2025, Oba Oyinbade called on all sons and daughters of Uso to advocate for the town’s progress, shun negativity, and work together to ensure a better future. He also encouraged preparations for the upcoming Ero Festival and Uso Day celebrations, which he described as key cultural events that will highlight the community’s heritage and unity.
“I pray that afflictions shall not rise again in our land. Let us celebrate our culture and heritage with pride as we look forward to a brighter future for Uso,” the monarch added.
He concluded his message with blessings for the land, its people, and the revered throne, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
