Hon. Kolawole Ologede, the representative of Akure North Constituency, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), describing his death as a monumental loss to the state and its people.
In a statement released today, Hon. Ologede commiserated with the government and people of Ondo State, as well as the constituents of Akure South and Akure North, following the death of Hon. Oluwatuyi, who succumbed to injuries sustained in a ghastly car accident.
“Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi was a beacon of excellence, a man who devoted his life to the service of the people of Ondo State. His unwavering commitment to leadership and development, evident through his various roles as Chairman of Akure South Local Government, Commissioner, and twice as Secretary to the State Government, leaves an indelible mark on the history of our state,” Hon. Ologede said.
He described the late SSG as a selfless leader whose contributions to the progress of Ondo State will remain a source of inspiration. “His dedication, humility, and passion for good governance have set a standard for public service. His sudden departure is a great loss to all of us,” he added.
Hon. Ologede extended heartfelt condolences to the Oluwatuyi family, the Akure community, and the entire state. He prayed for divine comfort and the fortitude to bear this tragic loss.
The late Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi, a native of Akure, will be remembered for his profound impact on the lives of the people he served and his pivotal role in shaping Ondo State’s governance.
