Inauguration: Prince Mafimisebi Adedatiwa congratulates Governor Aiyedatiwa, Adelami

An All Progressives Congress faithful, Prince Mafimisebi Adedatiwa, has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his inauguration as the 7th elected governor of Ondo State.

In a congratulatory message signed and made available to the public on Tuesday, Prince Adedatiwa described Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory at the polls in the November election, which culminated in his inauguration, as a reflection of the people’s will.

He noted that the landmark victory across all 18 local government areas of the state underscored the trust and confidence the people have in the governor’s capacity to transform the Sunshine State.

The APC faithful commended Aiyedatiwa’s leadership and his commitment to the state’s development during his one-year tenure in completing his predecessor’s term.

He particularly praised the governor’s people-centered policies and governance approach, which, he said, have already made a positive impact.

Adedatiwa who is a Prince of Ilaje Ugbo expressed optimism that the new four-year term will usher in greater development across all sectors of the state’s economy.

He urged the people of Ondo State to support the governor’s administration as it continues to implement his developmental agenda.

“A tree cannot make a forest. The governor cannot do it alone. We must join hands with him to elevate the state and to tackle the myriad of challenges facing our state. The development of Ondo State should be seen as a collective responsibility,” he said.

Prince Adedatiwa also emphasised the need for good citizenship, including the regular payment of taxes and the protection of public infrastructure provided by the government.

He wished the governor and his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami a peaceful tenure.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy were sworn in on Monday, February 24, 2025.
