Congratulatory messages have continued to pour in for Idowu Ajanaku on his appointment and inauguration as the commissioner for information and orientation in Ondo state.
The latest is coming from St. James’ Anglican Church, Isara-Idogun, in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State. The Church, under the Diocese of Idoani (Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion) described Ajanaku’s appointment it as a moment of divine fulfilment and communal pride for the people of Idogun.
This was contained in a goodwill message jointly signed by Vicar of the Church, Rev. Canon Awodogan and the Laity Council Representative, Festus Ajiroba.
The Church said the appointment signified a continuation of the enduring legacy of service and faith laid by Ajanaku’s grandfather, the late Pa Samuel Ajanaku, who founded the church decades ago.
The Church thanked the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for recognising and appointing a son of Idogun into such a strategic leadership role. It added that the community remained grateful for the honour bestowed on one of its own.
It expressed confidence that Ajanaku would bring notable progress to the Ministry of Information and Orientation and positively impact the state’s governance agenda.
Assuring him of continuous prayers and spiritual support, the Church prayed for divine wisdom, strength and protection throughout his tenure.
The congregation also urged the new commissioner to remain committed to truth, service and community upliftment in the discharge of his duties.
