The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Ade Adetimehin, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of a former federal commissioner and respected political leader, Chief (Mrs) Cecelia Ifayase. He described the development as a painful and significant loss.
This was contained in a statement signed by Alex Kalejaye, the State Publicity Secretary of the party.
The late Chief Ifayase, who represented Ondo West Constituency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly during the administration of the late Governor Adebayo Adefarati, was widely acknowledged for her impactful contributions to legislative service and grassroots development.
Adetimehin described her as a principled and unwavering progressive, whose political career was marked by consistent dedication to the ideals of good governance and a heartfelt commitment to the welfare of her people.
The APC chairman extended his condolences to her immediate family, the people of Ondo Kingdom, and the entire APC family.
He prayed that the Almighty God grants her soul peaceful repose and forgives her shortcomings.
