NSA Nuhu Ribadu a Symbol of hope for Nigerians – APC Northeast Vice Chairman

The National Vice Chairman (Northeast) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Mustapha Salihu, has congratulated the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, on the conferment of prestigious traditional titles in Adamawa and Taraba States.

Ribadu, a former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), was recently honoured with the titles of Sardaunan Fombina by the Emirate Council in Adamawa and Walin Zing by the Zing Emirate Council in Taraba.

In a statement made available to journalists, Salihu described the recognition as a testament to Ribadu’s leadership, integrity and decades of service to Nigeria.

He described Mallam Ribadu as a distinguished son of Adamawa whose achievements reflect the values and aspirations of our great state.

According to him, his appointment as National Security Adviser and his new traditional titles highlight his competence, dedication and contributions to peace, unity, and development.

Salihu commended Ribadu’s efforts in addressing insecurity across Nigeria, particularly his strategic role in combating Boko Haram insurgency in the Northeast, banditry in the Northwest and oil theft in the Niger Delta.

He added that Ribadu’s anti-corruption track record as EFCC pioneer chairman continues to shape his approach to tackling crime and insecurity.

He noted that his tenure as NSA combines intelligence, community engagement and military precision, adding that he has shown remarkable commitment to dismantling criminal networks, restoring peace to affected communities and driving reforms that strengthen national security.

He further stressed that Ribadu’s integrity and global reputation inspire trust both within and outside Nigeria, making him a symbol of hope for citizens.

According to him, the conferment of the titles by the Lamido Adamawa, Dr. Mohammed Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, and traditional authorities in Taraba, is a proud moment that reflects Ribadu’s esteemed position in society.

The APC vice chairman assured Ribadu of the continued support of the party’s youth wing in working towards lasting peace, security and national progress.
