The Digital Media Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, has congratulated its Patron and Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor of Ondo State, Ebenezer Adeniyan, following the Supreme Court judgment that reaffirmed the mandate of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
In a congratulatory message signed by its Chairman, Omoba Adesoye Ajayi, the Chapel described the verdict as a “historic judicial pronouncement” that sealed the mandate freely given to the governor during the last gubernatorial election.
The Chapel said the ruling had brought an end to needless distractions while opening a new chapter of renewed focus on governance and development in Ondo State.
Commending Mr. Adeniyan’s role throughout the legal process, the Chapel applauded his professionalism, resilience, and commitment in managing information and shaping media narratives from the tribunal to the Court of Appeal and finally at the apex court.
“As the image maker of Mr. Governor, your efforts have further strengthened public trust and confidence in this administration,” the statement noted.
The NUJ Digital Media Chapel further praised the CPS for his exceptional leadership and support for digital media practice in Ondo State, stressing that his achievements highlight the importance of strategic communication in sustaining democracy and good governance.
The Chapel assured Mr. Adeniyan of its continuous solidarity and partnership in advancing the governor’s vision for the Sunshine State, while praying for greater wisdom, strength, and success in his service to Ondo State and Nigeria.
