Senator Ipinsagba boosts food production in Ondo North with agricultural inputs to Ose farmers

The senator representing Ondo North Senatorial district, Jide Ipinsagba has distributed agricultural inputs to farmers in Ose local government area to boost food production.

During the ceremony held at Ifon, the headquarters of the council, the farmers expressed hope in the representation of Senator Jide Ipinsagba as they received various Agricultural support inputs.

The event which was on the auspices of the National Centre for Agricultural Mechanisation, NCAM, had the farmers from the 12 wards in the council went home with Fertilisers, Spraying Machines, cutlasses and hoes.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Senator Ipinsagba said the initiative was in line with President Bola Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda on Food Security and provision in abundance.

Represented by one of his legislative Aides, Hon. Joseph Aladetimehin, the senator appealed to the benefitting farmers not to sell the materials but rather use them to enhance food production.

“I want to beg you not to put these materials for sale, make good use of them to reduce food shortage and improve on the farming activities.”

Senator Ipinsagba noted that the people of the Senatorial District will continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy as the nation continues to progress.

Speaking at the empowerment event, a political leader in the Ose Local Government Area, Arole Dennis Alonge commended Senator Ipinsagba for facilitating the Agricultural support program to Agrarian communities especially at this crucial stage of enhancing food production.

Arole Alonge, a former Council Chairman of Ose local government, said political leaders are working towards attracting more developmental projects to the area.

On his part, a former member of the House of Representatives, that represented Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, Hon. Eni-Olorunda Omosule commended Senator Ipinsagba for the gesture and promised the people’s support for his representation.

Some of the beneficiaries, Musah Isah, Mayomi Duduode, Ojomo Rotimi, Eunice Idowu, Sammy Oloruwa and Obadiah Bamikale thanked Senator Ipinsagba for bringing succour to farmers in Ose Local Government Area and promised to make good use of the Agricultural support inputs.
