The Member representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Science Research Institutions, Oluwatimehin Adelegbe, has commenced the installation of 3,000 solar-powered street lights across communities within the constituency.
Adelegbe said the project is part of his continuous efforts towards good representation and the fulfilment of his electoral promises to the people.
According to him, the initiative has gone beyond the provision of street lights to some major streets, as it now includes personalised services to ensure that Churches, Mosques, Security offices, and residences of notable community and political leaders, including Heads of non-indigenes and Traditional leaders, also benefit.
