The Ondo PBAT Mandate Elders Forum has congratulated Mrs Yinka Tunji-Ojo, mother of the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on the occasion of her birthday.
The Forum described her as a woman whose values continue to reflect in national leadership and public service.
This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the Forum, Chief Erastus Akeju; the Secretary, Hon. Ebenezer Alabi and the Facilitator, Hon. Demola Ijabiyi and made available to journalists in Akure.
The Forum said Mrs Tunji-Ojo exemplifies discipline, sacrifice and strong moral values, noting that her upbringing has played a significant role in shaping the leadership qualities and service record of her son.
The Elders Forum observed that the Minister’s people-focused approach to governance, particularly his concern for elders, vulnerable groups and the wider Nigerian society, mirrors the principles of integrity, compassion and resilience instilled in him by his mother.
According to the group, mothers occupy an essential place in nation-building, stressing that Mrs Tunji-Ojo’s influence goes beyond her immediate family, with her values contributing to positive outcomes in Ondo State and across Nigeria.
“As elders, we celebrate Mama on this special day and pray that Almighty God grants her long life in good health, abundant joy and lasting fulfilment. May she live to witness greater achievements, honour and success in the lives of her children and generations yet unborn,” the statement read.
The Forum further wished Mrs Tunji-Ojo a peaceful and memorable birthday celebration, while reaffirming its admiration for her role as a mother and source of guidance.
