The Youth Coalition for Education in Nigeria (YOCEN) has honoured the Police Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Cooperative Multipurpose Society Limited with an award recognising his contributions to public communication and institutional engagement.
The youth group during a courtesy visit to the PRO presented him with an award of credence titled “Vanguard of Societal Transformation in Nigeria.” The presentation took place at his office in Ikeja, Lagos.
According to YOCEN, the award was in recognition of his consistent efforts in ensuring effective dissemination of information and strengthening communication between the Nigeria Police Cooperative Multipurpose Society, its core members and the Nigeria Police Force at large.
The coalition noted that his approach to public relations has enhanced transparency, improved awareness of cooperative activities and contributed to better understanding among stakeholders within the policing and cooperative sectors.
YOCEN said the recognition forms part of its initiative to acknowledge individuals whose professional conduct and public service contribute positively to national development and institutional growth.
Responding, ASP Ojo Olawale thank the group for the honour, adding what the recognition will spur him to do more.
