The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is confident that Nigeria is on the right path to physical and economic rebirth as the country celebrates 65th Independence anniversary.
The party therefore urged urging Nigerians to remain hopeful as government economic policies are yielding positive results.
In a statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye, APC rejoiced with the State Government, party leaders, adherents and all stakeholders. It asked them to be more optimistic about a better and brighter Nigeria.
Chairman of the chapter, Ade Adetimehin, said that the Nigerian economy is rebounding under the renewed hope agenda of the APC-led federal government, while the Ease agenda is committed to rewriting the stories of infrastructure development, education, and food security in the Sunshine State.
“I want to congratulate Mr. Governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, party leaders, and all our supporters as they celebrate this year Independence Anniversary”, Adetimehin added.
The party specifically commended the State Government for the Light-up Akure initiative, sincere efforts to upgrade the capital city, and other laudable strides.
Ondo APC urged its members to remain supportive of the State Government’s initiatives that are aimed at making the State a better structured, and enviable seat of government.
